I like the fact that that the player remembers where it left off so you don’t have to restart the movie from the beginning. The units can be powered either by cigarette lighter (both players) or wall outlet (for one player). Each screen has individual volume and brightness controls. I love the fact that after turning off/on the car, the dvd starts where you left off. They have a good picture quality and can be connected to a TV (which was great when we were on vacation). It is true they only work when plugged in.
